Carol Tallant, LMHC, LPC

I received my Masters of Health Science degree with a specialization in mental health counseling from the University of Florida. I am dually licensed in two states: Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida (MH9803) and Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia (LPC010449). I am also a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist.

My expertise is working with women who have survived sexual trauma, childhood related abuse, and other forms of interpersonal trauma. Over the years, I’ve worked with individuals to address issues such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem, substance abuse, and relationship issues. During the course of my training and experience, I have found a common underlying issue: trauma. While many recognize what happened to them as trauma, others struggle with identifying it as trauma because they have internalized the belief that something is wrong with them or the behaviors were a normal part of growing up versus something traumatic happening to them. My passion is helping individuals speak the truth of their experiences, be heard and validated, and create a safe space for healing from the trauma so they can live fulfilling lives.
